mmmm... chinese food.
So, let's think of what will happen to those kids who planned to blow up a school and shoot everyone as they tried to escape. I hate to say it, but they're probably screwed. Even if they don't go to jail, what school will have them?

Let's see, we've got these rules that state that sex offenders must inform their neighbors when they move, right? So, shouldn't kids in school get to know that their classmates tried to blow up their last school? I mean, I think Heathers was a pretty bad movie, but the plot was funny in an over-the-top way.

Puberty has always been rough, and everyone who has gone through it (which is almost everyone, right?) should remember this and acknowledge it. It's not easy. It's difficult growing up, your body is changing, school is getting tough, people act strange, you become aware of how screwed up the world is. If people could remember, they would realize that kids have wanted to blow up schools for years.

Only difference is, today we arm them.

Not sure what to have for lunch. Possibly chinese food. I haven't had chinese food for a while, and it sounds good.
You can now search for old Ask FlyingSheep questions. I changed the database schema a while ago (a long time ago, actually), and I've finally gotten around to updating the search page to work with the new tables. That's part of my penance for leaving it un-updated for so long.

I'm not even sure if anyone reads this. Perhaps there's a way to get blogstats somewhere. I've got to look into that.

I was thinking about writing a short short story each day in the morning, directly after waking up. Short short story is defined as 5 paragraphs or less. I was reading a translation of Ovid's metamorphesis, and realized that he could write a whole story full of romance, war, intrigue, etc. in just a few paragraphs. Shouldn't take too long, and would be an interested creative exercise. If I do so, I'll probably use blogspot as an easy and quick publishing mechanism. Perhaps I could write an outline before I go to sleep and then flesh it out in the morning. Hrmm...

Then again, I'm still not even sure if anyone reads this. Oh well.

Ok, so I'm back. I know I had fallen off the face of the planet for a while there, but now that work is settling down, and my house is slowly falling into place, and (most importantly) I've found a phone jack upstairs that I can get DSL through (now I just have to move the bedroom to the computer room and vice versa), you should be seeing more of the Sheep soon.

I've put the other new game (that I alluded to some months ago) on hold, and I am instead planning an overhaul of the castles game. Don't hold your breath - you may not even notice the changes, and they probably won't be anytime soon (:
