So, we had the first of many Thursday Night Poker game at the house of the FlyingSheep. It was a good deal of fun, with six of us, including the Jedi Princess, Leah the Wonder Goldfish, Pistachio, and hurtmeharlan's girlfriend. There were a number of other intersted players that were unable to make it this week, but they will hopefully come to one of the future sessions. Everyone who came had a lot of fun and no one (well, except maybe Pistachio) lost too much money. I'm happy that the tradition is alive once more (:
Also, we picked up the Jedi Princess's dad last night. He'll be staying with us for a few days before heading back to his house. On his next swing around, he'll take the dog we've been borrowing, which will be sad, but will also mean I can go to sleep without having to listen to a half an hour of barking each night (:

I had the unique pleasure of meeting Fluble in real life yesterday, when he and Pistachio came to my housewarming party. The snow drove away all my other friends, except for my neighbors who, living next door, had no excuse for not coming. Nevertheless, we had an excellent time, and I got to get to know my neighbors better. Also this week, I'm starting Thursday Night Poker again. Should be a blast (:
