Time to update the folks playing along with us at home - there are two weeks (that's 12 hours, 10 classes, evenly divided between Probability and Lie Algebras) remaining in the semester. There will not be a final in Probability (although there will be some non-as-time-consuming problem set or equivilant), and the final situation in Lie Algebras has not yet been established.
Of course, that does leave the qualifying exam in Algebra. I have done roughly 1/3 of the research I feel is necessary. Maybe a little more. I have held practive exams on these sections with both examiners. It only remains to finish the next section (which is almost done, and accounts for another third of the material) and present it to each examiner (hopefully this will be done next week) and then delve into Galois Theory (the final 1/3 of the exam).
I hope your Good Friday the 13th is going well. Have an excellent Easter. Time for Simpsons.

No hidden agenda here. This is about FlyingSheep.com. Oh sure, some thoughts may seem to have nothing to do with Flying Sheep (the more mathematical thoughts in particular come to mind), but this will be an outward expression of the thoughts of the same entity that runs FlyingSheep.com.
