Let me answer some questions that are probably best summed up in this question from matt:
What was the deal with three weeks of brazilian pirates?
Well, it hasn't been three weeks in this timespace, but, as you are a mathematician, I will allow for the possibility that you are in your own timespace. Sometime on Saturday, March 17th, the Brazilian Pirates replaced FlyingSheep.com with their own political message. This coincided (coincidentally, I am sure) with the Jedi Princess and I leaving for Vermont for a week (see the previous log). So, that's one week. With any luck (and some help from my hosting provider) FlyingSheep will return in a few days. Hopefully, before it actually becomes three weeks.
What will happen to the game I was playing or the question I asked or the really funny joke I submitted?
Everything will be set back to the way the site was on March 5th, 2001. I will try to restore anything that I have a copy of that was changed after March 5th, but this will only include a few bug fixes, if anything. If your question isn't there, by all means, ask it again. We might even come up with better answers this time around.
I would like to thank der_frawd and her friends in Wisconsin, Fluble and his ever-ready assistant Fafnir, Fair Oriana and her translation skills, cuddle-fish and her animals, and everyone else who has been concerned about FlyingSheep.

No hidden agenda here. This is about FlyingSheep.com. Oh sure, some thoughts may seem to have nothing to do with Flying Sheep (the more mathematical thoughts in particular come to mind), but this will be an outward expression of the thoughts of the same entity that runs FlyingSheep.com.
