Okay, so I've selected a lawyer, had the inspection done, and notified the sellers of the list (short list) of things I'd like to have done as part of the purchase of the house. I've still got to arrange for financing, but I think I've narrowed it down to two mortgage companies. I'm going to get in touch with each of them today and see what kind of deal I can get. By the end of the week, I should know who I'm going with, and what I need to do to get there.
