Computation proofs are the best. Given a set A with an commutitive multiplication, define [a, b] = ab - ba.

Now prove that any three elements of A satisfy the Jacobi Identity:
[a, [b, c]] + [b, [c, a]] + [c, [a, b]] = 0.
