"Forgive and forget" is some of the worst advice ever offered. You should definately forgive, it's good for you. In fact, not forgiving someone for hurting you is the same as allowing them to hurt you more. If you are not a very forgiving person, you should seriously consider the possibility that you enjoy pain, or the attention that you get from your suffering.
